Lumaya Photography
Joe Lumaya- my love for photography started back in the 1970's. My first photography class was in junior high. From then on i always knew i wanted to become a professional photographer.Though out my high school and college years i took many photography classes, learning from all my instructors those little things that would make me different. In my 2nd year of college i applied for a photography position at the Los Angeles Times and got it. I worked for them for 11 years and got to cover many different aspects of photography, from shooting sports, to fashion to some hard news. i left the Times to start my own company. i have been working in the photography business for over 25 years and i still love it as much as ever. i have had the honor to work with the staff at Disneyland for almost 10 years doing not only wedding photography but also commerical work. My goal in my photography is to capture those moments that some are not willing to get, be it wading in the surf to get that awsome angle or riding Thunder Mountain backward to get that one unique shot.
